Wing Restaurant in need of $250k

    Hi,
I have a long term merchant i have been funding for over 15 years, I have probably done over $1.5 mill in funding and syndicated half of that.
He has gotten into a bit of trouble with the IRS (his accountant has been stealing his payroll taxes and not paid the IRS to the tune of over $1 mill). He has a payment plan but the IRS wants 25% down ($250k).

He needs the funds in a couple of days.

I currently have around $100k out to him.

His 10 locations gross around $1,7 million a month. The IRS has frozen his bank accounts, so he is having a hard time accessing any funds.

He has some property with a ton of equity in it, but he needs the funds in days, not weeks.

Any one willing to take a look at this? If so what will you need.

He has a purchase agreement to sell two of his restaurants for around $3.2 mill but that will also take time.
I put my contact info in here, and
was bombarded with spam from funders

Thats a rough one! Thats more of a "family and friends" funding to get him out of that.
Also, if his business accounts are frozen, how do you fund them?
No one will fund on properties without proper due diligence which would take time.
You could fund through a lockbox on his credit cards but those might stop accepting payments if the bank is declining deposits. Might be your best shot.
You might as well let that one go unfortunately.

The IRS placed a lien on his accounts - The Bank will accept deposits - the issue - all the funds will
    go to repay the lien.

I'm assuming he has opened New Business Accounts -

I've been thinking but a quick solution no. I'm assuming you have reached out to Hard Money Resources?
Definitely this biz owner is in a jam - any possibility of maybe his New CPA or Lawyer can negotiate with IRS,
they sure have him/her in a bind.

I apologize, I know who you are but, my brain is malfunctioning this a.m. I cannot recall your Company Name
or your Name - Send me an email - I'll provide you a link to Lenders and a possibility of a Company that may fund this situation.

Or Call me whichever you prefer.

A few months ago you were on this forum selling how great this deal is, etc. Rocket was in it back then, yes? You guys are all screwed. He needs to call family till then he should go through the rest of his inventory then close up shop. Whoever you convinced to fund this file, I suggest not subbing much to them if it was your first deal off this forum. I'd hate you if I was a funder and funded this deal. Restaurants are a pretty bad industry in my opinion. Once they stack up this far, like this guy, theyre usually done in a few months. I guess the IRS got to him first.

    Hi,

Thanks for sharing the details — that’s a long-standing client relationship you’ve got there. Given the urgency, the frozen bank accounts, and the IRS settlement, this will need a very fast-turnaround funding structure. There are a couple of possible approaches depending on how quickly collateral can be leveraged:

Bridge or Hard Money Loan (Real Estate Secured): Since the client has property with significant equity, a short-term bridge against that equity might be the cleanest path, provided documentation can be pulled quickly. Some of my direct lenders can fund in just a few days with clear title.

Revenue-Based Advance / High Gross Receipts: With $1.7M/month across 10 locations, there’s strong top-line cash flow. An MCA-style or hybrid revenue-based product could get him to the $250k target faster than a traditional loan.

Structured Combination: If timing allows, a smaller immediate advance can be coupled with a short-term real estate secured loan to cover the IRS deposit.

To take a look at this right away, I’d need:

Basic financials on the restaurants (recent bank statements or POS reports).

    Property details (addresses, estimated equity).

Copy of the IRS payment plan.

Contact information for the client or authorized rep.

Feel free to DM or email me directly at [email protected]
    — I can line this up with a couple of my funding partners to see who can move fastest.

    Best,
