On June 18th, a company falsely representing itself as a federal government agency contacted a representative of DailyFunder. Claiming to be part of a task force with state regulators, the fake company is attempting to defraud merchants by offering to reduce their MCAs by 25-40% or void the contract altogether in return for an upfront enrollment fee as part of a "FAKE" campaign to stop predatory MCAs. This is a classic upfront debt settlement fraud and is a crime.

As part of the fraudulent offerings, they cite Stevenbaron on DailyFunder. Stevenbaron's account has been banned pending further review.

they didn't bring steve up to us at all. That was a discovery we made along with several other points of correlation

I had a 30 minute conversation with Stevenbaron today in regard to what 6/18 entailed. I do not want to specify what was discussed publicly, but I am open to a call with an admin to discuss further. I am not sure what he is being banned for, but based off what we spoke about he seems to have the best interests of the industry in mind.

Just to be clear, I wasn’t defending anyone. I only said I’d trust family more because that’s how sketchy CFG is.

Saracino has been around for a while but he isn't the brightest guy. It doesn't take a high iq to make $ in this space. In his mind someone he met for 30min and knows nothing about is a good person. You should be ashamed of yourself Anthony for being so green.

He wanted to remain anonymous. He was also able to rattle off 5 different 6 figure deals I funded. 4 of them are paying perfectly and past principle, 1 is having issues but is in constant contact with myself and the other funders in a group email working thru their issues and holding up end of the agreement we all came to.
