May want to take those funds from personal assets or personal loan so not to mess up the business operations.

I'd look at personal tax return, Fico, schedule of real estate of owner that wants to do the buy out.

But that ties up the company with additional debt....bring in money from outside the company would be better for the business operations.

If they're shopping for a MCA funder to fund the buyout that indicates that the only place the cash is coming from is the business. Using personal assets for the acquisition would be ideal but is rarely the case in my experience.

Is the other 50% partner willing to sell?
Sell Agreement in place?
You do not mention the amount needed for the buy-out?
Can the owner service the debt?

IMO - MCA is not the financial instrument to facilitate a buy-out
