Why not finance it 100%?...I've done that with Fico down to 585. A Trucker doesn't need a 3rd position MCA. That's a terrible option. Business is tough enough. Send me an loan app, 4 months bank statements and invoice for the truck.

I might be able to pay one or both of the mca's off if the balances are low enough and gross reserve is not to high. This will not hurt the cash flow like a third position will. If we become first position our renewals are a true add on like a line of credit of sorts that he can keep buying new trucks every few months.

Steve, the deal you funded with a 585 fico, I'm guessing the guy paid back 3x what he borrowed over 3-5 years? Meaning 50k borrowed and 125-175k paid back over 3-5 years? Probably 3-4 since it's higher risk? It's better for cashflow but if my cashflow could handle a daily I'd definitely take an mca, purchase it outright, and payoff early. I see slim yes leasing (the high risk equipment guys) doing some expensive deals for guys below 600. It's pretty insane.

No it's standard equipment financing with a monthly payment. It's not a MCA.
