I been around the industry for around 12 years or so and never heard of surfside. I have heard of westwood calling the merchant behind the brokers back before. I hate that beccuase me and my company would never do that in a million years to good brokers and it makes it harder for me to sign up good brokers. I've known Levi for many years. Never heard of him doing something like this.
Every seems to think they are exclusive with deals, then come to find out that the merchant applied to five sources.

Sounds to me like there was an offer sent out to multiple ISOs. One brought it back downsold, the other did not.

This doesn't mean that anyone is backdooring. Was this a renewal or not? I think that has a lot to say here as well

Ive never seen them in a bank statement anyways so I dont understand why people send deals to certain people anyways, we keep seeing dumb stories on DF that can easily be avoided but for some reason brokers just keep working with the wrong people.

It's perhaps because you haven't seen a lot of the more recent posts that were being removed almost as fast as he could post them. Unfortunately I can't repeat what he said. Maybe he'll be allowed to come back at some later date.

Actually, My merchant fed the backdoor broker a lie stating he took $150k 0% fees 11 months, a blatant lie he doesn't even have that offer, and an hour later Levi got back to me and said that his "underwriter" reached out to the merchant and the merchant said he took $150k 0% fees 11 months, once again a lie that was fed to catch a backdoor. Later, when I asked Levi when the underwriter had called, The merchant didn't get a call. He said oh no, it was a misunderstanding. It wasn't an underwriter I just "heard it through the grapevine" I said exactly it wasn't. It was your backdoor. I don't post much on this, nor do I tarnish anyone's name with just a "feeling". He was caught red-handed, simple as that. You don't mess with people's means of living.

The deal MKEN Enterprises was a competing ISO's renewal who had signed docs back before you did.

When you realized another ISO had signed docs, you instructed the merchant to lie in hopes that the 1st contract would get voided and you can take over a lost deal to an ISO who gave a more agressive sell rate.

We got the deal back in from yet another ISO a week after this ordeal.

Yes my underwriter heard through the grapevine about the lie and not from the merchant directly. Yes I misunderstood the underwriter and thought he spoke to the merchant directly.

This is a case of an ISO thinking his deal which he told me was a "personal relation" was just another non-loyal merchant.

That's how this guy rolls i guess. I got had vibes from him when I first spoke to him and never submitted. Did some digging and seems he white labels with the newco team since he worked for them in the past he had that relationship established.
