Here's a story from one of my top clients, that answers this better than I ever could.



A young kid moves to NY from Indiana and applies for a sales job at this Iso shop.

The Iso has one of the top (paid) training programs in the Merchant Cash Advance Industry.

The kid is a little green but he's motivated and he's street smart. Boss sees that this is the type of kid who will fight to get it done. The kid goes through two weeks of training, but his first day is pretty rough.



A month after the two week training, the boss calls the kid in and asks how many deals he funded. The kid says just one.

WHAT!? Boss says.... One deal in 45 days, when every other new sales agent has funded at least 7 deals, is unacceptable. How much did you fund the deal for?

Kid says $400,000...

$400,000!!?? How the heck did you do that on your first deal, says the Boss.



Well, I was talking to the merchant about cars (he owns a repair shop and he's a former racer), and then we talked about ERC, and we had a lot of like-minded interests and synergy, and next thing you know, he sent all his documents in, we got him some approvals, he signed all the contracts, had a great merchant interview with underwriting, and he got funded yesterday.


Boss says: Just because you spoke to him about cars and ERC, you got him to take a $400K deal??

The kid says, oh no no no, of course not....


He wanted to know how to get back at his ex-wife for taking his million dollar auto shop business in the divorce, so we got her a $100,000 advance, and stacked it five times right after.
