4 days what are you going to do with your time ??.....I find myself getting best work done every night (except Friday night--I don't ROLL on Shaboss) from 10PM-2AM! maybe the post office can go down to 4 days a week.

John, Your right and many of the times threads turn-out that way ... but i will give you many examples of Industries much larger than RBF/MCA that have seen active forums at one point and very busy but was controlled more and became more boring than gargling sawdust and today many of my other industry forums have outright died...... I think people are very busy in our space and come on to see some popcorn moments as-well.

Currently the Greensheet has 47,386 Members only 38 NOW on the forum and 1 is from the 47K+ members (the rest are visitors) --- however in 2017 1434 was on the forum at the same time!! ..... so now they got a great email list with 47K members but on a reg Monday only 1 member is on. (maybe admin?)....

The Green sheet died a long time ago - Even their print edition is just a mere speck of its former self.

Correct - But when they had lots of members --they treated the forum like you were writing on the white-house walls and admins were over reacting and overreaching and now they got the perfect forum of everyone keeping inline and on subject -- frozen for eternity. I believe the forum will live-on only with the current structure -- the more popcorn moments the more people will keep coming back. Once forums get overly controlled they become less interesting then last months newspaper in a Hungarian language.

not looking for over control but anyone who thinks an industry that is predicated on eat what you kill will ever go to a 4 day work week is blind to what goes on around them

Absolutely John.... your right even 5 days may not be enough I get a ton of submissions from 1 specific ISO who uses Sunday's to bang away his merchants --especially those that are shopping --- he knows come Monday his merchants will get calls from the weak-enders who took off... So by 11am Monday -Mr. Sunday has already closed the deal... so thats my thoughts on 4 day work weeks for our space.

Sales, including MCA, isn't going to be a 4 day work week unless in you are in a type of massive industrial sales but you don't need to grind 40 hours a week to make money. (If the majority of the deals are originated from UCCs, then it is a grind)

Once you are decent at sales it isn't a 9-5. Hell, most of my sales friends, across many verticals, that make 200+ work probably 25-30 hours but you need a team behind you.

I don't really sell deals anymore but I used to be able to bang out outbounds for 2 hours, go run errands/play golf/take an online course. During that time, I might have to answer calls or emails. In the afternoon, I make some outbound & follow up. I will have to work weekends and nights to answer calls & emails but it's very rare that I would ever break 35 hours a week.

It all comes down to leads & automation that drives your work time

Fridays im out at 2pm. Nothong can fund. Only times i stay in late fridays is if i have some solid large volume leads. Then i try to get apps out friday since i know most of the industry is out early fridays. Saturdays or sundays, either or day is used to organize pipelines.

If you have reps and no manager you're gonna have 6 or 7 day work weeks. If you're solo and are fine making 10k or less a month, you can prob do 4 days a week. But your marketing is going to garbage.

This space requires a lot of work to survive if you're commissions only.
