Good luck with that....Heter Iska is, in short, an agreement between the customer and the financier that the transaction being provided is a partnership where all profits must be shared under a stringent set of reporting requirements. If the customer wishes to pay a specified rate in lieu of profit sharing, the customer may do so.

Steve, why are you jumping to conclusions about what other people will do? There are several funders who who are happy to do it when necessary. The heter iska is there to prevent any issues from coming into the problem is ribbis, it does not affect the product. Take a look at the NY courts https://www.kfikosher.org/legal - Since a heter iska is not recognized under NY law, whenever the Jewish courts kick it back to the NY courts, it gets defined as a transaction of "loan" or "MCA" (depending on the product) under the NY laws. So the funder can then access the money due under the Jewish law via using the NY law as their police.
