    Looking to join a Broker

    Looking to join a funding shop with a good lead system in place—no backdooring and no 1000s cold calls per day. I am not afraid of cold calls, I just don't think this is a good strategy. New York area. Ready to start asap.

    - No prior MCA/lending experience
    - 6 months of phone sales experience
    - Familiar with CRM platforms
    - Strong communication/negotiation skills
    - Able to work long hours

    Pay on 1099 is ok.

    Any advice, comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Backdooring goes without saying. I'd say warm/hot internet leads. Unless client acquisition cost is too high and not profitable, isn't it more productive to spend time & effort with interested prospects only?

    A company that has developed a Internet Lead System - which takes time and a good size investment - is more than likely NOT
    going to provide those leads to a rookie - they will provide those leads to a person that has cut their teeth in this business and can close
    the deal.

    You stated :

    Basically - you have no experience


    Think of yourself as a rookie invest banker - how does a rookie
    cut their bones in that world - Goldman Sacks, Citi, Chase - no different in the MCA Industry

    You have to invest time talking to business owners - that is one on one conversations.
    Get you nose bloodied, have your ego bruised and accept rejection.

    That is called "SALES" No magic wand - If this business was easy, companies would not be paying
    the high commissions.

    Best To You - I would think with the number of shops in NYC-NJ - you would not have a problem finding a new home.
