Izzy-Is he a wholesaler of building materials or doing installations/construction? If he is billing 9Mil/month, he probably qualifies for a much larger and cost effective type of financing. $100Mil companies should not be paying 8%APR+ for money unless they eat baby seals for lunch and juggle puppies. You would be providing a better service to the prospect by finding an ABL facility that includes AR and possibly inventory.

He is a wholesaler. From what I understand he has taken one or two MCAs in the past, but now is looking for a substantial deal. I agree its not in his best interest, but I think he is interested & would take the deal at a 1.20-1.25

Business assets for collateral - qualify for SBA 7A. Can go up to $5M.

    Steve,

It sounds like the company would be better served with some type larger, revolving facility. If the financials are in decent shape they would certainly qualify for an ABL facility. 100Mil company with probably 12-14Mil in receivables should fetch an ABL north of 10Mil and sub 6%.

Yes and No, by the end of the day some of these mentioned funders will put out $3 Million on a deal, VS most funders that won't/cant.
