ask your funder's if they allow and pay the $ to have your counsel review the syndication contract arrangement prior to investing anything. also, do your research on the co extensively

Someone once told me that the best way to syndicate is with a funder that did not blue sky the offer. If it pays, great, if not, commence a securities fraud action against them and really clean up big time, either way, you win.
