    Commission only employees?

    Hello,

Long time viewer of the forum and finally decided to make an account.

Based off your experience in the industry, what is a typical commission % paid to reps doing MCA sales or ISO work? Assuming all work is 100% commission based no salary.

    Thanks,

30% to 50% of commission paid by Funder in a deal basis

    Thanks,

A commission rep is not an employee unless you are deducting taxes, SS, Medicare, etc.

Demand 50 percent at minimum. You are only commission. You are calling the lead, selling the lead and closing the lead. You made the company money. Demand 50 percent or leave, period.

if you have experience and you closing your own deals, no reason why you should get less then 40% or even 50%. If someone else is closing your deals then 20-30%

unless the company is spending thousands and thousands and thousands a week on marketing/leads demand absolutely nothing less than 50%. and if the leads are bad spend a few hundred dollars opening up your own LLC and literally just google businesses to call since that will honestly not be much less than calling an old UCC list that's probably been called 50,000 times and been put in 100,000 dialer systems.

    Thanks for the responses..

For a ISO manager should you still be demanding 50% or is it normal to take less?

Better way to put this, how many points should you make per ISO deal if you are 100% commission.

Is 1-2 points per deal acceptable?

it reallyyyyyyyyyy heavily depends on the funder. if the funder is aggressive and wants to fund a lot than 2 points can make you a lot of money.

Are they your iso lists or did the company give you the isos to manage? if you're bringing on the isos 50% min.. as for points for iso manager it depends how much you pay your iso and what the spread is on the deal. say youre getting 12 or 15 pts upsell and but youre only paying the iso 7,8 or 10 pts..

Smarter funders know you get what you pay for.. and usually the results yielded will reflect just that. Just my two cents.

How can one expect to get good deals and Isos if they arent paying the market rate of 12 points (and sometimes even more with bonuses and larger upsell)

Closers get what they want. Callers and customer relation managers get what they can.
