I have a guy who has multiple businesses -- started up a cannabis grow in california --- there is no revenue from the cannabis grow yet

How can I get this guy the equipment he needs? Is there a lender that will use his personal credit and other incomes to fund equipment for this new company?

Depends on the type of equipment he needs. We can look at deals for extraction, processing, packaging, testing, etc. type equipment. We can't however finance greenhouses, lighting, ventilation, and the like.
