It's probably someone who works for you if it was backdoored, or it could just be the merchant shopping around which they always do, even if they lie and say they're "only working with you".

This industry is cut throat. People are hungry out there. There's also a lot of trash who were kicked out of other industries like the stock market or the mtg industry and now work in this free for all industry.

The people doing it in house will all eventually get caught due to either greed or stupidity.

How many people are you now newbie? All one man shops will get half their deals backdoored, it is just the industry we are in.

I had the same thing last week after submitting to a "reputable lender". They tried to backdoor a file an hour after it was submitted to them and 15 mins after the lender declined due to "low number of deposits".
