Angry Cuomo cracks down on bars, gyms, restaurants as coronavirus cases climb again (NY)

Really bad news today with COVID-19 cases starting to result in further state restrictions for small businesses. Do you think we'll see another several month shutdown for funders?

I don't think will be as bad as last time. Nj staying open but with a 10pm shut down. Its uncertain if they will give another stimulus package as well which will also hurt funding. Either way we should still be funding at a 50-60% rate. This election still seems to be up in the air as well so its really hard to say. Hoping to get fully operational by spring if we are lucky. Happy funding!

No. First go-round was slamming on the breaks while driving at full speed. Now nobody is flying blind. It might tighten up some sectors, and result in shorter term, lower value offers, but we're in a different place now than in March.

I honestly think this is just the start. Business owners like restaurants are forced to close at 10PM. It's bad enough, you are taking away there outside seating (because of the season.) I'm not sitting outside in sub 50s weather, not sure about anyone else.

    We will see what happens...

dark weeks months ahead. we haven't seen a winter cycle yet with this pandemic and the baseline is starting very high of infected people which leads to more hospitalizations, and, ultimately more deaths. many tech giants have let most of their employee base remain at home thru 2021. the white house, at least while trump remains in office til jan 20th, will not lockdown the country again, and, shifted to allow the states to govern how they want to proceed after they realized 22M jobs were lost from locking it all down back in spring. much uncertainty still in the market

Its clear to King Coumo and DeBlasio that Covid clearly is only contagious past 10 pm every day, that's why we must lockdown. For some reason, at 10 pm, the Covid virus just starts being contagious. Its science
