    Non - Profit Funding

Can someone enlighten me on what the issues are with funding a NFP? Merchant has bankcards and large daily balances.

I would have to assume lack of AR if most of the revenue is donations.

Usually comes down on the "revenue" breakdown and ownership structure.

If the Deposits are all from donations/fundraisers/grants most companies are going to avoid this because these are fickle forms of revenue. Often times non-profits also have many board members as well. Are all going to want to sign and be liable?

People fund non-profits but the majority of the deals will fall into high risk - short term/expensive.

Ownership usually seems to be the problem like Moshe73 said. A lot of people have to sign or they have to grant one person the authority to sign on behalf of all of them. It can become a big collection issue.

Our money is supposed to be used to make a profit. NFP does make profits but they are meant to be reserve funds and not pay out any owners. Which is why they get special tax benefits.
