A trusted leader in assisting small and medium sized businesses grow through business financing solutions is seeking an energetic sales leader for a Sales representative position. This position is responsible for selling financial solutions, building relationships, and enhancing the culture of AmeriMerchant. This is accomplished by utilizing AmeriMerchants’ highly successful sales strategy, comprehensive training, and established selling approach to help our clients grow their businesses.

Job Description
The Sales representative is responsible for selling our financial products, building a pipeline of business, working well in a team environment, and always be closing. Needs to follow set protocols and business practices to efficiently work leads, track the flow of information, and accurately document all outcomes. Become an expert in the various financial products while meeting and exceeding monthly quota and expectations. Needs to be able to multitask and work between multiple departments as transparency and constant communication is a must in this position. Needs to understand the Key Performance Indicators and have willingness to change and desire for continual education. The above will be achieved through hard work, AmeriMerchants extensive training program, and through the guidance of management.

The candidate must learn from each sale in order to maximize opportunities generated and establish a strong pipeline.

Candidate Requirements: Ideal Candidate Requirements

• 2+ years of experience inside and outside sales, strong drive, competitive mentality, strong understanding of small businesses, and all aspects of lending.

• Demonstrate success in selling, working within a team environment, problem solving, and strong analytical and listening skills

• Proven record of closing leads, exceeding sales quota goals and manage pipeline

• Ability to adapt and navigate through complex business issues in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

• Technologically savvy; comfortable with salesforce, Microsoft Office, Various online applications

• Passion for continuously learning and leveraging new technology, products, and sales strategy

• Strong cold-calling skills and ability to self-source up to 100%

• Hunter mentality with drive to identify and follow-through on opportunities

• A drive for self-directed learning and personal development

• Entrepreneurial spirit

• Highly self-motivated, aggressive, energetic, creative, and personable

• Professional presence required and ability to effectively interface with management and executives. This requires strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong listening skills
• Relationship management or account management experience a plus

• Experience and capability to build new and immediate relationships of trust with clients

• Demonstrated success at building and maintaining appropriate pipeline levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience using and proficiency using Microsoft Office are strongly preferred

• Solution selling experience preferred
• ISO background (plus)
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Languages: English (Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply)
