I have a dispensary that has been looking for some equipment financing, and they were approached by this company. They have around $460k in new equipment, but mostly smaller things suchs as lights etc. I could not find anyone willing to do this deal because of the size, industry and obviously COVID.

They want her to pay $8k upfront prior to any underwriting. They said there are no guarantees that it would fund. I told he not to do it.

Anyone have any info on this company?

EDIT: NOT a legit lender, just a broker, who is NOT a legit person. The up-front fees are his to keep.
