    Distressed Hotels-- equity/purchasing 1st position notes/capitalizing the project

    We are looking for distressed hotel assets in major US cities/destinations. Primarily, the top 25 hotel markets. Our target deal size is $20-60m. Key count of 150-250 and RevPAR of $90+. We are interested in stepping into the equity at a discount to appraised value and recapitalizing the project or alternatively purchasing first position notes that are in default.

    Just a side note, have to love companies doing $20 Million Dollar Deals & using a free gmail email account.

    If these companies understood the amount of data & the storage of data Google uses, you would cringe in your boots.


    Google = Zero Privacy and the user has no clue where in the world the data is being stored.

    Hey Dave

    I'm a broker not a lender that's why it's a gmail account. I'm representing an investors group that is dealing in the distressed hospitality market. This is not MCA related topic at all.

    Just side note a gmail account has nothing to do with the amount $$$ you make or dealing with.

    Hi Yite,

    A few things....

    -Your original post states that YOU are interested in discounted deals which would imply that YOU are an investor, lender, or some other form of capital provider. Perhaps YOU should have stated that you are broker in your original message. The original message implies you are an investor or lender.
    -I don't know of anyone that is a capital markets professional that conducts business with a person using a GMAIL account unless they really know them well and have done business with them or a friend. Using some form of corporate email address is always a good policy as well as using full contact details when shopping for $20Mil deals.
    -Are you registered with FINRA to sell equity investments?
