    ISO blocked clawaback

Anybody have advice on how to recover a commission from an ISO who blocked a clawback? The ISO closed the account altogether. What I gathered from a conversation with the ISO, before they basically told me to screw off, was they had a lot of defaults and closed their account rather than pay anyone back.

Withhold commision on his next renewal. As long as your iso agreemant allows it.

I used to recoop 50% commission on future deals until the clawback amount was completed. That way it will not deter them from sending.

That's a good idea. Hopefully I get him to send deals still.
    Thanks

seems automatic that he wouldnt get paid on anything else, as that its almost every ISO agreement. let alone the iso having the balls to ask to get paid for anything further.

I doubt a broker like this is going to be sending in any more quality files.
If it gets to this point usually the relationship is done.
Also not sure I would want to fund for a broker that fights with you so much about a clawback. The good brokers understand the clawback situation and take it like a man and move on to the next deal.

Correct that it is always worth another shot, but I cannot see a broker going from blocking a CB to sending you any files let alone garbage files.

Update: ISO has gone dark. They're never going to send another file. He is actually on here. Goes by Kingoffund$ lol. If I'd only read his posts on here beforehand I would have known how shady he was.

I had a strong feeling that would happen. Most likely nothin good will come out of a broker who blocks a CB.
What are some of the examples of stuff that he said on here that could have tipped you off?

Just another broker pretending to be a funder. Inserting himself into a thread about funding a 1-2 million dollar deal and pretending he can fund it when we all know he can't do that.

Ya, I poked around on some forums and I see what you are talking about.
Claims his website is under construction since his company is expanding, and that he used to have a different account with many rep points but forgot the PW so he had to make a new one.
Sorry to say but its almost comical.

Update: The ISO paid up in full! It appears he really was going through hard times. He mishandled it but he payed in the end. I guess some getting screwed stories on DailyFunder have a happy ending.
