"If you don't send money to me today you're done," said a recent text shared by a business owner. "I will put you in the hospital and your family, call the police I don't care, you and your family will pay." Another text to the owner included a Google map showing a driving route the debt collector was taking to the borrower's home. "Currently in route to u right now," the text said. "I'll show you what type of loser you are you clown of a man."

"Heskin, who testified last year before Congress about the lenders' tactics, said one of his law partners found a disemboweled rat splayed atop his mailbox in front of his home. He provided a photo to NBC News."

We dealt with Powerup on a few refinances and they are the most unscrupulous merchant cash "lenders" that I have ever dealt with. Seth and Kurt Kramer (brothers) are some of the worst human beings I have ever experienced in my life. https://www.law360.com/articles/2900...age-fraud-role

We were able to rescue a few of our borrowers from their Par-like intimidation tactics. Just terrible. These MCA lenders need to be regulated.

This article is absolute bs. Power up didn’t do any of the unscrupulous tactics they mentioned in this article. All they did was file a judgement. Companies need to protect there investment some how during these times. Is power up a bad co and have they done shady **** in the past, maybe. But I think this article is super biased against the industry.
