So it goes like this: lenders lend money. But MCAs aren’t loans, they are purchase/sale of future receivables. Therefore MCA funding companies refrain from calling themselves lenders, so as to avoid potential legal and usury issues.

However many sources in the conventional banking and ABL spaces have absolutely no interest in learning details about advance and refer to it as lending. And these are actual professionals with ethical successful careers.

Do people come here to bash new participants or make connections and close business?
