I thought maybe they misclassified it as trucking

We are very aggressive with Construction and Trucking offers. Strong early prepay discount with a weekly payback option.

Curious to see how Marcus’s (Mr ‘I love Construction’) book is performing - especially with trucking companies getting smashed.

Lots of CH11 filings again last month. Restaurant and supermarket CH11 filings are getting very active.

There isn't much profit in general contracting from what I have seen they default a high percentage of the time. I prefer electricians/plumbers and any other specialty trades they perform better.

We will fund construction under our traditional guidelines with no special requirements. Given that their statements check out, we can offer them a 2nd/3rd position that will go up to 10 months, starting at a 1.29. We'll be able to pay your firm 15%+3% in total commission and your clients will have access to a prepayment discount of up to 15%. Feel free to give me a call to go over our program and I will have an agreement sent out to you.

Curious to keep an active update on this type of data as what industries may be best to avoid. Is there a public source to see recent bk history by industry?

every funder goes by there personal experiences. All the ones that got burnt big a couple of years back still wont fund a certain ethnicity in a certain state.
I spoke with one of the big high risk guys and he said that restaurants are his number 1 defaults and trucking/ construction are performing well.

I called my Vader rep and he clarified it's specifically the general contractors that they are no longer taking. Handyman/fencing/roofing/excavating/plumbing and anything else trade specific they will look at.

Don't blame them. And it's January, so unless they're in a warm climate, its a rough few months.
