Most of you know...... We are Seacoast Business Funding, a division of Seacoast Bank. We offer flexible working capital facilities in the forms of factoring and asset based lines of credit. We partner with companies in a variety of industries nationally.

One industry we are starting to see a lot of activity is emerging food and beverage brands. Manufactures and/or owners of these brands struggle with working capital. Most have little to no terms with their vendors and/or contract manufacturers and terms with customers are N30-N60 at best. Some of the large retailers are demanding N90. The lack of a revolving working capital facility can truly stifle the growth of a brand and in some cases kill the brand because they can't keep pace with demand.

Without a working capital facility in place, most have to wait for payments to come in from customers before they can start their next production run. Having a partner like us in place cuts the wait time and increases production turns and ultimately sales. Emerging brands can really take off with the right partner.
