Just sharing this for the community, looks like this might affect some ISOs if passed. Karen's not here, but it's food for thought.

With bill AB5 in California, "A company will have to complete an “ABC test” to classify a worker as a contractor, proving they are (a) free from the company’s control, (b) doing work that isn’t central to the company’s business, and (c) have an independent business in that industry."

Most likely any ISOs hiring new reps and are telling them how many hours that they need to work in order to get paid, are just misclassifying them. Unless they make all of their new reps to open up LLC's to get paid.
