Sometimes the merchants lies are so bad or funny that you start to crack up on the phone.
I just had a merchant tell me that he has no loans. When i asked him about the weekly payments i see from a popular funder, he tells me that is my weekly donation to help the community kids and goes on about how important it is to give back and that i shouldn't laugh.

When I asked a customer why he wasn't paying he said "I got hit in the head with a fish". I chuckled and he said "it's not funny it was a 400lb frozen tuna." Wasn't a lie!!! But still funny!!!

We personally received one of the worst fraudulent statements we have ever seen. When we asked the merchant, "are these fraudulent?". He stated, "yes they are, whoops I meant to send you the real ones. Those ones are for the city."

OMFG, This lady said the same exact thing to me - and when I tried to explain it to her, she just could not compute it mentally.

I once had a merchant who edited his bank statements and put 3 cash advance companies in the statements and he didn't have any advances I called up each company to verify. lol
