I find attending and exhibiting industry focused trade shows a fantastic way to find new clients or if you are exhibiting at a financial trade show a fantastic way to stay in front of referral sources and meet new ones. I just attended a large trade show in the South East that catered to brokers and referral sources. There were over 120 different types of lenders, factors, and advancers exhibiting and well over 600 brokers and/or referral partners. We have already closed a couple of transactions from new referral sources we met at the show.

In the South Eastern and South Western territories of the US, trade shows start to heat up in the Winter months. In Palm Beach, Miami Dade, and Broward Counties there are a wide variety of trade shows on a weekly basis.
