Is there a bank line or factor ahead of the 7 positions? There is a better way to finance a trucking company.

Does he own the property where he runs his business?

If so, I might be able to help. I would be funding the real estate and not the business so the 7 positions would be irrelevant. Cost of funds is a LOT cheaper.

If the client has a factor (or ABL LOC) I would want to know what the advance rate they are receiving. If it isn't in the high 90's there are ways to provide some liquidity there. If they are in the high 90's and they have 7 additional positions their balance sheet has to be WAY upside down- and there has to be a reason why there are burning through so much cash.

If it is for growth (not losses) there will be a way to help. If their sales are trending lower and they are taking out 150k positions for 70 days- the end is likely near
