    Lenders that fund in California without a license

    Can someone please help me, I am looking for lenders that fund in California without a California lending license. All and any suggestions are appreciated.

    There are a ton that fund Cali. What kind of paper/position are you looking for?

    Really, it’s about which funders don’t, because it seems most fund Cali. Strategic, BFS, 1st Merchant, National, Credibly are some. As far as 2nd and 3rds, I’d assume the great majority do.

    Ironically, Cali only prohibits unlicensed brokers from brokering true APR loans. And there are ways around that by simply referring those without brokering the transaction. You can refer deals and get paid commission by “lenders” but you’re prohibited from gathering documents and providing guidance on “loans”.
