Interesting word in your Post is 'lender'. There are a few 'funders' that provide products that perform like LOC's- with interest rates that surpass usury standards.

True LOC's lever either personal credit or corporate assets (on the balance sheet).

We actually have facilitated with our bank partner a true BLOC. Typical rate standards at prime + 1%-2%. These are amort over 5 yrs with an interest only payment option. The most recent deal we facilitated was for a trucking company. We did a $2mm line with an additional $1mm eq. line. We charge to the client origination fees of 1%-2% up front.
