Can a merchant who has an Amex split in place also legitimately get a 1st position CC deal like, say, Rapid/Credibly/Strategic...etc? Since funders don't touch Amex, I figured that's a reasonable thing to wonder about.

probably not, as those companies mentioned don't do second position anyway

Right, but some don't consider the lower interest ones (Kabbage, On Deck LOC, Lending Club, Funding Circle...) positions at all. So I guess it's a two pronged question. Who would do it at all AND would any 1st position funder not consider them a position? More complicated than I thought, I guess.
