and to just answer the original question.. NO you shouldn't fund it. The amount of money made is not worth the headaches that can come from it down the line

That's funny....they declined one of mine once for something much less serious; a funeral home was dumping...let's call it "waste" to save on disposal costs...disgusting, yes but not murder!

This week they declined one of mine because he missed a few payments over a year ago to another Lender due to a fire in his building (which he proved was truth). He paid the Lender and the lien was released, not like it was a default but they wouldn't budge....I love how they can excuse Murder but not missing 3-4 payments due to circumstances beyond their control(devil's advocate, there was NSF issues too but if it wasn't high risk it's not like I'd have ever sent the Merchant there to begin with!)

So much of this business has to do with personalities and personal choices. Think of it as someone buying a stock. Investor A might want to buy GM, but investor B doesn't want to buy GM, wants to buy Citibank. Investor C might refuse to ever buy banking stocks, thinking there is a bubble. Then there is the right price to buy the stock...what is over-priced, under-priced, etc, etc, etc.....

So one fund here may refuse all deals with criminal records. Why? Who knows? Personal disposition. Agree with it, don't agree with it. Considering how many yokels out there pitch their wares on this site, it isn't like you cannot find someplace else to fund it
