Spartan Capital is a fast-growing Fintech/ Alt Funding Provider. We are currently looking to augment our amazing staff by 1 senior underwriter and 2 Junior Underwriters. This is NOT a remote position- must be able to commute to Keyport NJ 5 days a week. Remote work will be available after 1 year in the company.

Spartan Capital is a growing MCA funder with a recently awarded $50M LOC. We provide funding to sub-prime and prime small businesses in the form of a merchant cash advance by purchasing their receivables. We have been in business since 2016 and are growing rapidly. This is a fast paced, high pressure position in a highly competitive industry.

Responsibilities:

Supervising and training junior underwriters and Scrubbers

Reviewing credit and background and court reports

Reviewing application and bank statements for cash flow analysis

Reviewing businesses debt to income and ability to afford payments

Pricing and approving the Funding of merchant cash advances



Requirements:

Senior: At least 3 years of experience underwriting merchant cash advance or Factoring
Junior: At least 1 years of experience underwriting merchant cash advance or Factoring

Detail oriented

Must be able to work in a high pressure fast paced environment

Must work independently while still remaining a team player!

College degree in accounting, business, finance, math, or engineering is a plus

Hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
