Today, 06:09 AMsean-nayyar replied to a thread Warning about Cookie Cutter AI Agencies Being Taught by Online Gurus in Merchant Cash AdvanceBro, you literally have access to claude. Ask some basics, then come back here with concrete questions. I can give you advice but not if you're asking generalist questions like that. What specifically do you want to do with AI in your MCA business?

Today, 12:54 AMjpctl replied to a thread Warning about Cookie Cutter AI Agencies Being Taught by Online Gurus in Merchant Cash AdvanceWhat is the free advice so that we can build it out ourselves? I've heard of people selling "AI-powered lead gen company" coaching. Are you able to give advice on how to build out a company/service like that ourselves? What paid solutions have you found that work? What is their marketing like? There seems to be a lot of poorly targeted Facebook advertising for similar AI receptionist/AI-powered employees. Thank you. -
Yesterday, 05:02 PMsean-nayyar started a thread Warning about Cookie Cutter AI Agencies Being Taught by Online Gurus in Merchant Cash AdvanceSup guys, I've been seeing a ton of spammy AI agencies coming into this space selling generic cookie cutter AI services. The only guys making money off this AI stuff seem to be the people selling you the AI. The AI itself actually doesn't seem to be generating profits. During the gold rush, the people making the most are the ones selling shovels to the people panning for gold. I'm going to show you exactly who is responsible for pumping new AI agencies into the market: Here's a dude named Kai stone bragging about selling AI website services to contractors: https://youtu.be/FEZ6Buaqd6U?si=aU4F-_SllwJebPKf Here's a dude named Connor Cahill who sells contractors (small business owners) an AI receptionist for $500 to $1500 a month. lol. Thats worth like $100 a month tops. There's legit subscription services that offer this for that much. https://youtu.be/l7eJfXmaCjc?is=HuzoJ98d4SQVSQ-F These guys sell people on a "agency in a box" model and then pump tons of people into the market, causing a huge distortion. (Tons of nobodies start acting like experts at AI and selling it) How this applies to MCA: There's also variations of these dudes (possibly their students) who are coming into the MCA industry and charging high ticket and recurring amounts for lead gen and automation. Most of them have no clue how to generate leads in this niche, and will bring garbage quality leads that don't fund. The reason I want to warn you guys about this stuff is that these guys charge hundreds or thousands a month for something you can probably build for extremely cheap with Claude or v0.Dev... And then theyre charging a high ticket and recurring subscription fee to businesses. This was happening back in the day too when everyone and their mom was starting facebook ad agencies. These are usually just nobodies with no experience coming in and using their cold calling and sales skills to get you into an expensive AI website package you don't need. If you need help getting what these guys offer, reply and I'll offer free advice on how to build it out for free, or point you to a solution that is the actual price you should pay for it. P.S. i didn't use AI to write this so I hope you'll excuse any spelling mistakes or grammar errors.

Yesterday, 12:46 PMSBA has not halted operations - they have expanded for qualified candidates. The demand for growth capital is at an all time high - but they # of merchants in the the sub 600 FICO is growing. (IMO) -
Yesterday, 12:01 PMbanks arent approving, sba halted operations, but now we have big companies like square and shopify capital that have access to distribution networks (their userbase and customer base are small business owners). so they have the lead gen side covered. they dont need leads. their userbase is their leads. that drops their marketing costs to zero. all they need is to offer their userbase money in their backend interface. it's game over as I see it. I don't see how y'all are competing with that. (unless you're funding the scraps that got rejected by their backend)

It is lead gen for dates for busy finance guys. Instead of dating apps, I set up a website for you, we drive women to that site, and women apply to go on a date with you. I've done this for myself all throughout the world while running my inbound lead gen agency for MCA. So it is proven and tested. Proof is at engineered-dates.com

07-10-2026, 09:58 AMMost guys never sit down and actually calculate what dating apps cost them. Not the subscription fee. The real cost: hours, focus, and money that could be going somewhere else entirely. I want to walk through that math, then show you what I switched to instead. What A Normal Week On The Apps Actually Looks Like Heres the pattern almost every guy on these apps falls into. You open the app and start swiping. Right on nearly everyone, because the algorithm rewards volume and punishes selectivity. This isnt ten minutes. Its an hour or two a day, most days. Then a match happens. Now youre texting, trying to build enough rapport to get a number or a date locked in. Thats another three to four hours a week, and a large chunk of those conversations go nowhere. Ghosting is the norm, not the exception. On top of that, the platforms themselves are getting worse. Women are leaving these apps in noticeable numbers, in part because theyre getting flooded with attention from men who swipe on everyone. Whats left is a shrinking pool of real matches, a growing pool of men competing for them, and an algorithm with no real incentive to fix that for you. What This Is Actually Costing You Lets put a number on it, because wasting time doesnt hit until you see it in dollars. Say you earn $50,000 a year. Working a standard 40-hour week across 50 weeks, that works out to roughly $25 an hour. Thats the value of your time, conservatively. Now apply it: Swiping: 2 hours a day, 7 days a week = 14 hours = $350 a week Texting matches that mostly go nowhere: 3 to 4 hours a week = $75 to $100 a week Thats over $400 a week, more than $21,000 a year, spent on an activity with a low and shrinking success rate. If you earn more than $50k, the number only goes up. Run your own hourly rate through this and youll probably be uncomfortable with what you find. Just Do Cold Approach Isnt The Fix Either The advice youll hear next is to ditch the apps and go do cold approach instead. Walk up to women in person, get numbers, build the skill. Ive done this since 2010. I know the real numbers, not the ones people post online to look impressive. Out of every ten numbers you collect, roughly one turns into an actual date. Thats a 9 to 10% conversion rate, and thats after putting in real effort on the follow-up texting. To get a steady stream of dates through cold approach alone, you need to be doing it consistently, for hours, most days. At that point it functions like a second job, one that pays nothing and often costs you money on top of the time. If youre a business owner or you have a demanding career, this is time you dont have. Every hour spent walking around trying to get numbers is an hour not spent building the thing that actually grows your income. The Real Problem Both paths, apps and cold approach, ask you to trade large amounts of time for a small, unreliable return. The apps are low effort but low quality. Cold approach can produce better quality but demands a level of time investment most high performers cant sustain alongside a career or a business. Neither one respects the value of your time. And if youre the kind of person who tracks ROI on everything else in your life, it makes no sense to ignore it here. What I Built Instead: The Engineered Date System After years on dating apps and years doing cold approach, I built a system that removes the two most expensive parts: the swiping and the chasing. Heres the mechanism in plain terms. We run targeted ad traffic to women who match your actual criteria, then route them through a structured system that qualifies interest before you ever have to text a stranger cold. The result is dates on your calendar without hours spent swiping and without walking up to strangers hoping for a good outcome. Read More: https://engineered-dates.com/blog/why-i-quit-dating-apps/

07-09-2026, 07:50 PMMca is shifting towards automation and better quality deals. Fine and dandy for what 5 months? if the economy doesn't correct those A paper files get stacked and end up being F paper. Theres on average 36.2 million business's active in the usa at any given time. 6.4 million have employees. Theres 5,000+ broker shops out there. How long before the entire 36.2 million get spammed 1000 times and gets reworked into a F paper file. I truly believe of course a better economy but also a community effort is what's needed to bring back the glory day. Of course we are still making money, or we wouldn't be here but its nowhere near where we could be making. -
07-09-2026, 06:58 PMMCA is nowhere dead, Banks aren't approving, SBA has halted operations, people need capital to operate in many forms, from 500 credit score to 800, they need it more than ever before. MCA is only exploding and going to get better and better. Defaults high, sure, makes sense, but leads us to Underwriting doing their due-diligence, and don't fund a stacked-up merchant that has 6 positions and up. MCA is the best industry around. Those who know it best, do it the best. -

07-09-2026, 03:34 PMMBG_Capital started a thread Direct $500k Commercial Deal Milestone Funding, Protected Payments & Client File Fl in PromotionsDirect $500k Commercial Deal Milestone Funding, Protected Payments & Client File Flow Hey Everyone, We are setting up a funding round for our new Credit Management & Consulting platform, operating under Mitus Business Group. We are looking to raise a fixed $500,000 commercial business loan. We want to connect directly with either a single Private Capital Partner, or active brokers who assist with the full $500k or can fill this space in $50k to $100k chunks by reaching out to their current and past funding clients. We structured this deal heavily around investor safety and clear performance rules: Account Control: As the Capital Partner, you keep the unreleased cash in your own account. Funds are sent to us in smaller blocks only as we hit specific setup milestones. Pre-Funded Payment Account: Exactly 20% of the total loan is placed into a separate account under your eye. This is set up with auto-drafts to cover the monthly loan payments, knocking out first-year default risks. Immediate Cash-Back: The funding partner keeps 10% of the loan amount on Day 1 as an upfront cash incentive. This drops your actual cash risk right out of the gate. The Return Setup: Partners get a flat, non-equity 5% fee on the gross dollar volume of all the client deals our platform handles. This pays out every three months starting 150 days after funding, up to a total payout cap of $5,000,000. We also have a 12-month buyout option for $3,000,000 cash. Broker & Partner Tiers: We are running this on a first-come, first-served basis. The first broker or partner to lock in funding gets Tier 1 terms: 10% upfront broker fees, the 10x contract cap, and we will immediately send 100 pre-vetted client files to your shop so you can fund them through your own pipelines. Later spots drop to a 5% fee, a 5x cap, and 25 files. This is a high-risk, pre-revenue startup deal meant for operators who understand alternative commercial lending. To respect everyone's time, we require standard pre-qualification or proof of funds before sending over active contract links or our Adobe Sign review package. If you are an active broker looking to monetize your client book and build a steady monthly revenue stream, send a DM here and lets set up a quick phone call. 07-09-2026, 01:46 PMB2 Systems replied to a thread A Broker's Guide to Reading Statements Like an Underwriter in PromotionsGreat insights, Joseph. Most brokers don't do this because it takes too long and still get errors as they're looking to scale and Funders end up spending too much time on deals they are going to decline. B2 Systems provides a platform which runs workflows automatically for brokers and funders. Instead of spending 30 minutes on a manual checklist, our platform analyzes revenue consistency, existing MCA positions, NSF patterns and more to deliver an accurate risk profile within 20 seconds of a deal coming in. The platform helps brokers stop shopping files to the wrong funders and improve approval rate to the right funders for that deal. The old manual way will soon become too slow to compete. -
07-09-2026, 11:53 AMMost brokers spend 30+ minutes packaging files that an underwriter mentally qualifies or disqualifies in the first five minutes. I'm Joseph and I'm a MCA direct lender, One of the biggest advantages I've had in this industry is seeing both sides of the table. I started out as a broker before moving into funding, so I understand what brokers are looking for when they're trying to get a deal approved, and I also know what underwriters are looking for the moment a file lands on their desk. When I review a submission, I don't immediately focus on the credit score or even the requested amount. My first objective is to determine whether the business has the cash flow to support another advance. Here's the mental checklist I run through: Revenue consistency Are deposits stable, or is revenue unpredictable from week to week? Existing MCA payments How much of the merchant's daily cash flow is already committed? Daily ending balances Is the account maintaining healthy liquidity, or constantly running close to zero? NSFs and overdrafts A few won't always kill a deal, but a pattern tells a much bigger story. Deposit trends Is the business growing, declining, or remaining steady? Any major swings should have an explanation. Overall cash flow At the end of the day, does the merchant realistically have enough room to take on additional capital? No single item automatically makes or breaks a deal. Underwriting is about putting the entire picture together, not making decisions based on one metric. The better brokers become at viewing bank statements through an underwriter's perspective, the less time they spend submitting files with little chance of approvaland the more time they spend closing deals that actually fund. That's made a huge difference for me since moving from brokerage to funding. I'm curiouswhat's the first thing you look at when qualifying a file? I'd love to hear how other brokers and funders approach it. And if you're ever on the fence about a deal, feel free to reach out. I'm always happy to give a second set of eyes before you spend time shopping it around. - If your looking to add an experienced and transparent funder to your line up email me at [email protected] or call me at 718-663-9385 -
