Hey guys long time lurker here. We’re a lean ISO shop getting crushed by inbound volume and I need advice on scaling without getting burned. Current situation: ∙ 600-800 monthly inbound inquiries (December hit 800+) ∙ ~20% send statements/apps ∙ Close to 50% of those fund at avg $75Kish ∙ Just me + a couple guys handling everything ∙ Deals falling through the cracks due to bottleneck The problem: I could hire salaried help but salaried does not necessarily always work hard, and I’m concerned about commissioned brokers stealing data, backdooring deals, or poaching clients. We work with merchants who’ve never taken MCA before (also term loans, other products), so these are fresh relationships. My question: Is there a middle ground where I can: ∙ Farm deals to other brokers who’ll honor commission splits? ∙ Or do I need to control submissions but pay other brokers for help? How realistic is either approach? What safeguards do you use against data theft and backdooring when scaling your team? For first quarter I have the ability to at least double my inbound interest. Note: I’m not looking for leads, funders, or software please do not solicit or clog the threads with advertisements. I already have a close group of funders. We have all the software neeed and we generate all our own leads and marketing. We do NOT buy or sell leads at all.

who will fund after a reverse?

I have a client who is doing $350,000 per month and 4.2MM annually. She is looking for a lender that can do bi monthly or monthly. Her credit are in the 500's which is crazy when your company is doing that much in Rev. If a Lender can help that would be great. If anyone knows of a lender that I can call that will help as well.

Hi all, We have a small shop with 4 closers. We've had a protocol that gives closers exclusive access to their files for 3 days from the date an MCA offer comes in. After those 3 days, if the merchant communicates, the exclusivity is extended. Once the merchant has been ghosting for 3 business days, the closer loses exclusivity, and anyone can hit it up. The logic has been that if a merchant is ghosting for 3 days, then clearly he's going elsewhere and we dont want to lose it, so we put more manpower on it. Does this protocol seem objectively unfair and a recipe for disaster? It hasn't caused us many problems thus far, but we have a new rep who doesn't stop crying about it (literally). She says it's unfair and calls me (the CEO) a snake for having such protocols. She claims that because we are such a small office, it only creates animosity. Would love to hear anyone's input on this.

Has anyone heard of anyone exiting a well put together/ organized broker shop? Will huge ISO's buy a shops book of consistent clients, refis etc...? I doubt this ever happens but curious of what people have to say.

I have a commercial property in Michigan valued at approximately $4MM, located in a rural area. The property was purchased in 2024 and currently has an outstanding payoff of ~$800,000. The borrower is seeking ~$1.8MM total for payoff and working capital for his operating business. He is the sole occupant of the warehouse. The borrower does not have tax returns available at this time, but his business is doing $60,000 a month. ***Please no time wasters***

Has anyone else noticed a noticeable uptick in merchant defualts over the past few months ? especially cases where debt relief or consolidation companies get invoved mid deal? Are others seeing this pattern?

Hi, I have a client who has 3 positions across Ondeck, BCA Capital and FundBox with a total balance of $83,160 across the 3. No neg days, no NSFS, strong ADB that ranges from $5-12k throughout the month. Credit score is 750. The client wants a reverse consolidation (is open to any other consolidation products as well). I've submitted to two lenders so far for a reverse and it got declined due to the client banking with https://mercury.com/, a smaller newer non-mainstream banking service. All of the above big reputable lenders + the traditional banks (when we submitted for TL) took no issue with his bank statements and did not care that he banked through Mercury. Is there any lenders with consolidation products that want to look at this file?

Hi, I recently made the switch from MCA to Real Estate Equity Loans (mezz). I need a funder that is reputable, and that doesn't offer only 40% ++ interest on all deals. I'm sick of selling these types of deals to merchants. IDC if that means I get less commission, I just want to close with a reasonable rate.
