Dec. 8, 2021 - Stated as a plague on the financial world, a large coalition of independent sales teams created an online petition to keep T.R.I.B lead providers from being able to sell to the general public. The 3 largest T.R.I.B lead providers met downtown at central ave to petition the judge for an injunction, and to start prosecution against the Isos that started this online attack, stating... "Most of these floors have no phone experience, no sales experience, no people skills, they date women that look like service dogs, they don't tip when they eat at Ihop, they've used a urinal to poop in, they type with the speed of old woman hands wrapped in a pancake. They are really making life difficult for real broker shops that know what they're doing. These people are like sales guys who secure water from the same hydrant the big firefighters do, and then go kick through a door, and hose down the wrong house". The TRIB lead providers were met with a barrage of grapefruits, salted bagels, and pebbles, and required a police escort to escape the plaza and make it back to their rent a bus. www.Dumbleads.com has proudly been sober and TRIB free for the past 5 months and counting. We have relapses, but we've renounced our membership multiple times and withdrawn from the board of directors. T.R.I.B. The Reason I'm Broke

Funders are becoming brokers, and brokers are becoming funders. The whole thing is turning into a convoluted mess in my opinion. I can respect working very closely with some of the higher risk funders that you would consider boutique. My top 3 would look different from the OP's list. But there is nothing like establishing a relationship with one of these smaller funders so you can actually trust the people your working with, and get some of those out of the box deals funded that otherwise would be declined. But to Michael's point, that doesn't mean you stop working with the EBF's, ODC's, & Rapids of the world. Those companies are trustworthy, its the people working there you have to worry about. But you have the same opportunity to establish a relationship with your OnDeck rep, that you do with the boutique.

Even the companies that you have heard of are involved in these games now. We don't work with any new/no name companies and we've experienced shenanigans recently with companies that have been around. I don't know what's going on, but people have been getting more desperate than usual.

^ than you cant trust anyone because every known brand brokers deals. You can ask the ISO manager all you want at each funder and they will either lie, or, are completely clueless what management is doing. The only safeguard would be to iron out an iso agreement that prohibits solicitation of your file, but, good luck getting a funder to accept your redlines.

it's simple. a plethora of no name companies are soliciting brokers to do business with, and, many of these new names are schemes to steal commissions from brokers and place the deal with a direct funder. the common theme in DF of these issues are with companies nobody has heard of and than get burned

Who asked you for your 1/2 cent? IF the unknown person actually contacts me directly, and IF they meet the Guidelines for PO Funding, that works within that vertical I will provide a referral. Nothing more

Well the EIDL program is/was a disaster as the SBA is clueless how to run and manage a program. They were poorly trained and overwhelmed. Initially said processing companies would be paid out of the funds. Then we find out we have to chase the borrower to get paid and we had no clue as when they were paid. We got stiffed for tens of thousands of dollars...some are members on this site which will remain nameless.

This sounds like a show I can get behind, this industry is full of drama but as we all know there's 3 sides to a story. Accuser, defender and the truth

I've read these types of threads for years and have decided someone needs to start an arbitration business as a side hustle... $500 per file, party determined to be wrong foots the bill. Each side can state their case and present their supporting evidence, and both sides agree to live by the decision. Preferably streamed on Youtube in a Judge Judy type production so the rest of us can laugh at the jackasses. Any takers?

4 times via email i requested a fed wire ID number...no response. honestly i was going to just write if off and move on when he wouldn't pay me the points as proposed on the offer. but when the deal funded right after his deal ended and the merchant called me to tell me that Alex and Gabe set it up for him that was it. i wanted people to know not to fund with him.

Doesn't make it any better. Have the merchant execute a settlement first so the sucker you find that will fund this should know upfront what kind of deal they're getting themselves into as far as RTR and term I'm sure you'll have plenty of candidates posting their pitch to you why they're better than the next sucker. Curious to know if anyone would fund it.

If you send a deal to someone like that jokes on you. There's a funder for every deal these days - do your own leg work. Its Water and Fire, can never go together and a huge conflict of interest. 50% of the posts bashing others on this site is only for of that reason... You can never fully trust a funder that brokers deals to other funders to be honest with you on your deal.

Ok so top 3 you trust, fair enough. But bottom line you are giving your clients less competitive offers and getting paid less commission because you do not trust the standard A paper funders. Also i hate that line of "If your mad at your funder for asking for stips its because your trying to screw them" if 2 funders give the same approvals and one has a stip list from hell and the other one has zero , why would i want to do the extra work of gathering all those stips ?
