if you are still looking for financing alternatives, this is a space I am quite familiar with -- my company isn't involved in it, but i banked it for a while during my investment banking career and happy to provide some suggestions if you give me a better idea of what you are looking for. Finance companies in this space are segmented on settlement size and likelihood of successful conclusion to case (e.g. auto or personal injury with insurance company on other side are very highly likely to reach a settlement at predictable terms so they can underwrite with a success rate of 97%.).
