avatar works differently than a regular call center. they play recordings of guys with american accents over the phone to merchants so that merchants feel like they're speaking to someone local. Whatever the merchant says, the filipinos guys press a button on their computer with an appropriate american accented response. I hear this model generates some serious lead volume from some of the people who are actually members of this forum but have no idea if the close rate or merchant quality is any good.

There are good Filipino call centers and bad ones. You just need to do your research.

Any time I have personally had success with over seas call centers, Its been with one's who's employees are from native English speaking areas such as, Belize, Barbados, Guam, ect. Just my two cents though.

You have to make sure those outsourced call centers have a script
where they are getting in and out with the merchant, with no prolonged conversations. That's when they get into trouble because by the end of the call they've completely mangled the owner's expectations desires and any credibility and then they still send the lead over because they spent 5 minutes on the call learning english and they don't want to lose the sale to their buyer so they deliver it over as fresh and real time hotness in a bucket.

Sorry to burst your bubble blindbid, but your leads are well below average. I utilized these leads for 2 months to give them a fair shot but their reps on the phone are extremely under-qualified to speak about merchant cash advances. They send you the recording of the conversation along with the information they gathered from the call. However, i decided to start listening to some of the calls. To say the reps on the phone asking questions were bad is an understatement, they were TERRIBLE. They couldn't answer any questions the merchants had, most of them have a broken english accent.

Not a good experience. I had a good sample of about 25-30 leads to test out, no bueno.
