Are SIC 17 (Contractors and Trades) businesses more risky

I've been trying to get funding for SIC 17 businesses and many funders don't do these deals or have a higher bar. Is there any data or proof that these businesses have had higher default rates on business loans?

were you trying ot fund them just after they came out of the winter months? Usually weakest time to try and get these merchants funded. Did you provide the previous spring/summer months to the funder?

MCA's are a short term solution for these accounts.
