    Adwords

Any brokers ever try to run Google Adwords?

Someone with my brokerage tried to run Adwords awhile back and it got suspended for some reason. Now they expect us to meet guidelines for the "short term loan industry," including many requirements such as listing our state's regulations for our industry (I know of no specific Florida law applying to B2B loans that I can refer to) and our collection practices (we're a brokerage so we have none). The call center people you get when you call Adwords don't know anything about these things and just re-state their requirements. Anyone have any luck dealing with this nonsense?

The only useful suggestion I have come up with so far is to advertise with Bing, which gave me no trouble whatsoever.

    Consider yourself lucky.

There is a reason Google's stock is trading at $538.25 a share and it is not because the price of clicks is going down for competitive keywords in the "short term loan industry".

Google is king of the search engines but Bing is putting up a good fight for market share.

Another option is to get your website optimized for Google and Bing so they list you organically on the natural listings (the left side of the search results).

It takes longer & costs more up front but the results are long-lasting, you don't have to meet these new Google requirements or keep paying once you start showing up organically.

yeah...we're working on organic search but building a reputation & PR to keep us on the 1st page reliably for a variety of keywords is going to take forever.

We have in-house adwords specialist. We are advertising and have been advertising in the MCA space for almost 2 years now with no issues. Our team runs efficiently. Give me a call and we will see if we can assist in any way.
