Be careful when paying at the pump! My card got duplicated and ultimately the person attempted a shopping spree before my bank shut my card down. I live in Ga and there were transactions in GA and CA at the same time, so they knew something fishy was going on. My banker told me to stop using my card at the pump. Passing along friendly advice.

Your Bank told you that because under Visa/Mastercard regs they are responsible for replacing the funds if that happens! lol

I had it happened to me recently and apparently they created several cards which in turn were simultaneously used all over the world.

As soon as my bank realized it was happening they revoked the card, called me about it to make sure I hadn't mastered omnipresence, and issued me a new card.

They also promptly replaced every dollar down to the penney!
