DIRECTOR OF UNDERWRITING/SENIOR UNDERWRITER POSITION(S) AVAILABLE: MUST HAVE MERCHANT CASH ADVANCE EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an Underwriter/Credit Analyst with Merchant Cash Advance Underwriting experience a must.
Perform credit risk analysis on prospective and existing clients, and other operational duties.
• Coordinate with agents at Independent Sales Organizations to obtain required or missing documentation and facilitate communication with business owner.
• Prepare Lending Contracts
• Schedule, coordinate and review business site visits
• Conduct credit and background checks on business and business owners
• Conduct verifications of lease or ownership status of business premises – by calling and verifying landlord references, mortgage payment status.
• Analyze bank statements, merchant processing statements, credit scores, corporate financial statements and perform landlord verification, trade references, and relevant search data to complete a financial analysis and credit review for current and prospective clients.
• Perform Merchant Interviews to understand the nature of a client’s business operations
• Perform recorded funding calls with merchants to review terms of loans
• Help to establish funding criteria, render credit decisions and credit approval guidelines.
• Maintain funding and repayment records, work with collections, aid in Operations and Account Management for the collection and workout of clients with credit difficulties.
• Rank Industries and specific industry risks, and track economic trends and how they will impact our clients.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:
• Reviewing credit reports, bank statements and merchant statements
• Reviewing performance of existing cash advances
• Reviewing financial statements & credit reports
• Reviewing renewals, balances and payoffs
• Computer literacy
• File UCC & Searches
• Handling collection matters
• Applicant must have merchant cash advance underwriting experience and/or other similar direct work background.
